Early STEAM Learning with LEGO Education: All Aboard the Coding Express
The webinar I attended was about LEGO and its contribution in learning. The idea of this is that all children are born equal and creative. STEAM is touching and manipulating, it is learning through touching stem things or real life evidence. Learning is a right for all human beings no matter what gender, race or age. STEAM is just for everyone, to prepare all students to be successful and give them what they deserve. Teachers should boost the children's confidence from early ages and help them succeed by providing a suitable environment for them and using tools in learning such as toys.
The most important thing is how to express yourself, what you want and what you need. All students want to do great but most of them do not know how. When students don't know how to behave, they are punished. But this must not be the solution. We are responsible for teaching them and guiding them how to behave just like we teach them how to read and write. By many activities we can show them the consequences of each move they make. We can use LEGO for example. It is very useful in learning. Students are all creative and curious and LEGO can make their brain work and advance in all aspects of life.
teaching students how to behave is the most important thing in teaching ! we cannot as teachers punish students for bad behave and we as a teacher do not practice good behaviors in the classroom ..very nice topic!
